The CPC metric is one that we have in our reports for all retailers, whether you get paid on the cost-per-click model or on the commission model. It’s a good metric to help you understand the average earnings you are driving for each of your clicks.
In both cases, the metric is calculated by taking your earnings and dividing it by your clicks. The cost-per-click model pays you based upon your CPC and your click volume. The commission model pays you based upon the sales you generate and the commission rate from the retailer. Both of these still have a CPC metric, which is why we show it for all retailers.
