"Quality Score" is a metric that helps you understand how close your traffic is to meeting the performance goal of a retailer. All CPC retailers give ShopYourLikes a target Cost of Sale that they need to achieve to be successful. Cost of Sale (COS) is the cost that the retailer has for buying traffic divided by the amount of sales that the traffic generates. For instance, a CPC retailer may give us a target of a 20% Cost of Sale. This means for every $1 in cost, they want to see $5 in sales ($1/$5 = 20%).
The closer you are to hitting the COS target of a retailer, the higher your Quality Score. The further you are away from hitting the COS target, the lower your Quality Score. The lower the COS the better. As your COS decreases, your Quality Score improves. As your COS increases, your Quality Score gets lower. A higher Quality Score reflects higher CPC performance, which can lead to a price up. Typically if you see a score of 90 or above for a CPC retailer in your dashboard you could be eligible for a price up. Scores below 70 typically lead to a price down.
*Price ups are dependent on retailer budget and performance benchmarks.
