How do I know what the rates and exclusions are when it says ‘up to” for CPA retailers?

The CPA rate will, for example, say “up to 12%” indicating that there may be variable rates for that retailer. The variable rates can be due to:

Category specific rates - ex: Home decor is 12% but Electronics may be 2%
New Customer vs Returning Customers - ex: Some retailers will pay different commissions for new customers than they pay for returning customers
Non-Commissionable categories - ex: Food items at Walmart are non-commissionable meaning if your followers purchase these items they will show up as sales, but you will receive $0 on those particular items

Exclusions - ex: Sometimes within commissionable categories there will be specific products that are excluded from commission (e.g., Apple products, gift cards)
