The CPC shown on the platform is always rounded to the nearest full cent. When a price increase occurs, such as a 20% increase, your CPC may not show a visible change depending on the effect of rounding (learn more here). However, even if the display doesn’t change by a full cent, the price increase still fully applies to your earnings.
Example:
- If your displayed CPC is 5 cents, and the actual CPC is 4.5 cents, with a 20% increase, your CPC rises to 5.4 cents. Since the platform rounds to the nearest cent, the display will show 5 cents, but you’re still earning the increased rate of 5.4 cents.
- If your CPC is shown as 19 cents, and the actual CPC is 18.8 cents, with a 20% increase, the CPC goes to 22.6 cents. This rounds up to 23 cents on the platform, so you will see the full cent increase. In both cases, the increase is applied accurately to your earnings.
