The CPC shown on the platform is always rounded to the nearest full cent. This means if the actual CPC is 0.5 cents or above, it will round up to the next cent. If it’s less than halfway (under 0.5 cents), it will round down to the lower cent. If you see 10 cents as your CPC, the actual CPC could range anywhere from 9.5 cents to 10.49 cents.
Example:
To find the exact CPC rate, divide your total earnings for a set period (such as 7 days) by the total number of clicks for a specific retailer. This gives the precise amount you’re earning per click, even though the platform rounds it for display.
* 7 Day earnings for Kohl’s is $125. Number of clicks is 2000. Divide 125 by 2000 and you’ll get .0625. So while your dashboard will show a 6 cent CPC, you are actually getting 6.25 cents.
