What is the “Form Version” on my W-9/W-8?

The most current version of the form will always be available on the IRS website, but we’ll also accept the October 2018 form.

You can find the form version at the top left of either form where it says “Rev. October 2018”. The form version is written as “yyyymm” in the ShopYourLikes platform’s “Form Version” box when submitting your W9/W8. For example, October 2018 will be written as “201810.”
